FESTUS, are you planning to (or have you already) do your own ULE mod to the rail? I would be interested in seeing your approach to lightening the rail.

I have'nt done a complete ULE mod on the rail yet,
but I have done some judicious milling inside of it.
When I get a little more time and better spec's
on the actual ULE, I'm going to try to duplicate
it as best I can on a manual machine.
