Go See The Stones!

Boys and girls I got to see the stones tonight. It was great, best concert by far I've ever been to and my mom said it sadly wasn't as good as last year. It was at the fleet center in Boston, and it was a blast.

I'm a bit tired, but I just want to tell all of you youngin's (and you old buggers too) to see the stones before you or they all die off. Listening to GOOD MUSIC on the radio is one thing but seeing it for yourself is another. This means you guys too all you "I have my favorite punk band in my sig" guys

Annnnyhow, go see the stones They rock. Me and my bro got the tix ($150 each!) for X-mas this year, and I got PO'ed at my Mom for spending that much. She told me I had to see em before they were gone, and lemme tell you I'm SO glad she wouldn't take no for an answer. Seeing Mick and Keith Richards in person was incredible.

I'm pretty amped...gonna try and get to bed so I can wake up and finish my homework before school

I do have to agree with you that the Stones put on one of or if not the best show you will ever see. I saw them here in Clemson at our Football Stadium some years back and it was indeed the best show I have ever seen.

Hehe, I sorta wish I got to see the outside show at foxboro last time around, but I'll take what I can get The vibe at an indoor venue always isnt the same, but I can't complain about the sound or the crowd last night

LOL, ya, it did I wasn't thinking along the lines of them all die-ing (how the hell do you spell that? lol), dying, but it may be their last tour. I don't know, haven't heard much about what will come.

Anyhow, while they all look pretty good for 60 year old dudes, they've had some pretty....stressful lives. Keith looked weathered to say the least, but he was active and really appreciative of the crowd.

Lol, i always wondered why Mick would always smile when he addressed my area of the arena. My mom who was directly opposite to me on the balcony filled me in this morning. It seems below me where I couldn't see a woman felt a need to derobe herself every time Mick looked anywhere near us.
LOL, makes more sense now. I didn't catch what she looked like, but maybe he wasn't too thrilled cuz he seemed to like the other side of the stage a little better

i haven't seen them, but from some of the concert tapes i've heard they sound pretty good for songs that were mainly popular decades ago.

Ya, no complaints on the sound for sure. Keith sounded just dandy on the guitars. My mom said she didnt like Ronny as much, but thats probably just cuz he's more of a mess I loved his solos and they had a camera on the neck of his guitar and they'd show his fingers on this huge screen when he was soloing.

They're all really weathered, but they sound as good as anything

did you see ac/dc a couple years ago when they were at the fleetcenter, ive seen the stones before, but ac/dc blew them away. never seen a concert as motivated as that, and ive been to many many concerts. i still cant believe a bunch of 60 year old guys can move like angus, brian, malcom, and the bunch. but i agree, the stones were awesome too. although i saw them at a more private show at foxwoods casino, not as many people, oh well.

I wish I had the cash to see them. Never a huge fan of the music but their live performances are real good from what I've heard. I just couldn't justify spending that much money to go see them in an arena when they came to Seattle. Maybe if they came to the Paramount theater then it woulda been worth it. I really wanna Bruce Springstien before he stops touring.
