    New (Brass Eagle) X-Board Revolutions

I don't know if there's another thread like this on here, and I apologise if there is, but every X-Board hopper that my team has bought that is made of the new, more rigid plastic has snapped at the neck. That's 6 hoppers that haven't lasted. Has anyone else had this problem??

My hopper only lasted half a day, one of my teamate's didn't even make it to the first game of the World Cup last year. Both black and clear hoppers, the quality of product had gone downhill as far as the shells go. I'm sorry Brass Eagle, but we may be going to Halos form now on. We've all been using VL hoppers out entire playing careers, which would come to near 50 years or more collectively. As for the internals, wicked. Can't go past it. But it's no good having top notch internals if the case is going to fall to bits on you.

This is a personal thing between my team-mates and myself, not a boycott of Brass Eagle, or VL in particular. More just a vent and to see if it has happened to anyone else.

Also, if there is a BE rep on here, could I possibly get some correspondence on this matter??

Hopefully we just managed to get a bad batch of hoppers...

    Cheers,

I HATE revy's. If the dang shells dont break, the boards fry, if the boards dont fry, the thing never stops spinning, if it's not one thing it's another, as it is on a warp, I can still outshoot an operational revy without even trying.

If they'd just invest a couple more penny's per board the dumb thing would last longer.

sure there's the eggo, but that thing is butt ugly.

I'll stick to my HALO, I love it.

I totally agree with you bro. I didnt have a rev and needed it the day of practice so I went to wal-mart shelled out 70 bucks (Im a dumbass) and bought one. Got to the field and bout the third game hopper neck snaps. So I go and ask the field owner for some tape instead he leands me a older VL pre-be no X board. Shot just as fast and the damn neck didnt break. So whats that tell you about the BE quailty?

We've basically got 2 types of hopper here in OZ, VL or Halo. So halo's could be the go for us, unless we can get our hands on pre BE shells, and transplant our X-Boards into them.

IM telling you, check out the Empire reloader. Mankie owns one and loves it. I own one and love it. I swear by it. It is extremly fast and very consistent. it feeds on every shot and there is no delay.

You can usually tell if it has X board printed on the side with the on/off

The plastic on the new Revos is a lot more rigid than the old ones, therefore it has less give, and is more prone to snapping the neck. If you have an older revo, I strongly suggest transplanting the X-Board internals into it.

Guys... I talked with a BE rep, they replace the shells for free.

What happened is they switched to a new production factory for the revys, the shells came out much brittler, but because they figured it was the same as before, they would take the beating. It was an honest mistake, and because they mass produce them, they couldn't stop the production and say "We made a mistake, time to throw all the new ones away and make a new batch" The most recent revy's should be fine, if not... get a reloader... Empire makes their own shells

just buy some old shells. thats what i did, and after even throwing my gun across the field, it didnt even crack!

(why did i throw the gun? being hit in the temple by a paintball going 330 on a cold, cold day will do that to you)
