Install steam and run it. It has lots of bugs so be patient. Make an account and then click the button that says accout and subscribe to Counter-Strike, then go to servers pcik on and your ready to play.
FAMAS - CT weapon - The new FAMAS IMO looks good and sots well too. The 3 round burst is help full at long range and the full auto is good for up close and personal fights. The 3 round burst is dead on accuracy even at long ranges and the price tag on the FAMAS wont hold you back from getting one.
Gali - T weapon - The new Gali is very ncie too. It seams VALVE wanted to add 2 very powerful guns to the already wide array of chioces. The Gali is only full automatic but it packs a punch. It is fully automatic and fairly accurate. This Italian AK is similar to the original AK. VALVE would of been smarter incorporating a more creative idea.
Ballistic Sheild - CT equipment - The Ballistic sheild is about the corniest idea yet. It is like takeing a wall around with you. It takes entire mags to penetrate it and an AWP is hardly a thing to worry about. Pistols and SMGs dont come close to doing any damage to you. I am not at all happy about this weapon and i hope most servers wont allow it.
Aztec - The new Aztec is very nice. Everything is much smoother adn the bridge is now decent. The spawns are the main changes however the eintire map is a little different. I really like the new textures they apllied to it.
Inferno - Only real difference are the textures, i really like them. Much higher RES and better looking over.
Models - All of the models are much nicer looking nad crisper. Hats off VALVE to a job well done.
Game play - I have not found a laggy server yet. The controls are all the same with the exception of a few of the weapons in the buy menu (they had to allow for the new weapons).
Overall - Overall i have to say on the AssassN scale it gets an 8 for the nice maps, new guns and considering the sheild. Had they left out the sheild i tihnk it would get more of a 9 but the sheild really knocks it down a little.
If you cant get steam to work dont worry. Alot of the game is the same and your not really missing out on a whole lot.
