Need a hand with emailing jerk!

I tried to auction off tickets on Ebay for my cousin. I posted them here. Now my cousin got screwed by a ticket broker and just wanted to get even. He ended up using the tickets because no one bid high enough.

Now one of the bidders is sending me email after email cursing me and being extremely crude. He will not stop.

Any ideas on how to get rid of this jerk?

Set a filter on your email client to automatically delete all emails from his addy ... fairly simple depending on the type of mail client you have.

just say you got some more tickets and you will send them to his house for free and then use the address and call the police for harassment save the emails too if oyu have most of them

I don't think he is quite that stupid. I did forward his emails to the [email protected]. Since that is where his account is, I hope they will stop him.

Other than his email provider, there's nothin' ya can really do unless he starts threatening you.

I mean you could file harrassment style stuff, but wouldn't that be more of your time wasted?

Best thing is just blow his email via filter and have it sent to the trash.

Or you can do what I normally do when people email me like jerks is just send them bouncing happy face gifs back .. lol a few of those and they get tired of emailing me

Well if you had tickets and he was the high bidder and then you told him he couldnt have them then he does have a rite to be upset but not to the extient as to what he is or so you say.

If he met the reserve/there was no reserve, those tickets are his and you entered a legally binding contract.

If he didn't meet the reserve, just tell him to hush up.

One of my other fav tricks is to use his email to sign up to spam sites. Spend about 2 hours one weekend just hitting as many sites as you can and signing him up :)

That works also. Granted he just needs to say he never signed up for them ... but by the time he gets the original ones off of his email they will have sold/traded his email to many more ....

Clarification

Okay. No one won the auction. The reserve was not met. He emailed me just to say he though I was a _______ (Fill in the blank) because I was trying to help my cousin sell his tickets.

He is just a typical Eagles Fan. Gimme what I want or your a jerk!

So no, he didn't win the auction. The reserve was not met. My cousin used them. End of story!

Don't sign him up for spam. That's easily a form of DoS attack. Since those sites will record your IP address, you will be found out if he wants to. Do you have a copy of the emails? If so PM me a copy with full headers and I'll tell you what I can about it.

No I deleted them. I was kind of ticked. I do know his email address though.

I got an Idea for you.
Go to a nearby internet cafe. Set up two forewarding sites with dual outputs. In each site set one output to the other site and one to his e-mail address. This creates a loop as they keep sending the e-mails to each other and him, he will get thousands of e-mails which will get him booted from his service and he'll have to set up another account. By the time he has that all cleared up he will likely have forgotten all about you
