yay! i just turned 17 and i might be going into the reserves. I just talked to a recruiter and he is comin to my house to talk to me, it would be so freakin cool to go into the reserves!

If you don't join, they'll call you everyday for the next 10 years, heh. Not really, but they'll call you to bug you a lot. If you do join, pick an MOS that will you can use outside the service. I thought they got rid of those for general army purposes, just special forces
I dont know though, I also heard they were replacing m60's

The M249 SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon) is the standard automatic for squad and platoon elements for the Army and Marines Corps.
The M60 series has been in phase-out since 1986, being replaced by the M240-B and G machine guns.
