    Windows XP Tech help..

You know how when you plug in a smartmedia card or digital camera, that little camera and scanner wizard pops up asking yuou what you want to do. Well mine doesn't anymore. Ever since I did a windows update. Is there a way to launch that program by myself? I looked in the program files and the windows and windows\system and windows\system32 but can't find the program. Any way to get it to run?

It should be under control panel. Scanners and Cameras is what you are looking for.

I dont get what your asking for. Try to go to your Control Panel, and Add New Hardware when it is plugged it. It should search for stuff that is plugged in, in this case, the card, and see it isnt installed, and will insteall it.

It recognizes the smart card fine. Before I did the windows update I'd put the smart card in the reader and this little Scanner and camera wizard would pop up asking me if I wanted to copy the pictures, publish them, edit them, etc. It's something that's built into XP. Like the photoviewer or movie editor. But now it doesn't come up anymore.

              Oh

I don't know, I haven't gotten to play with XP too much.
Is it home, or professional. If is home, I'd recomend pro.

But, I'd also recomend 2000 Pro over any version of XP, just .02.
