Edit: Got it, wow this is fun. Just zoom around different parts of the country and look at random stuff .
Think, if this stuff is available to us then WOW how in the world could anybody hide anything from us? Especially a county so open and flat as Iraq.

Man this totally messed up ... I am able to get a current (Im guessing) arial view of one of my old duty stations ...

This is a map of MCAS Cherry Point ... if you know what you are looking at you can find;

1) 2nd MAW HQ
2) 2nd LAAD HQ
3) Group 27 HQ
4) Barracks
5) Both Flightlines (if you zoom in enough you can see planes)
6) The rifle and pistol ranges
7) Enlisted base housing
8) Armoury and Demo magazines
9) Other units buildings, etc ...
10) My old units building (MWSS-274 Bay "D" Combat Engineers)

I am really surprised at the level of detail that MapQuest will allow you get over military airspace ...

There are MANY important military things blocked out of mapquest, its funny though that there is a HUGE black squarae in some areas The black and white are old pictures and the color are new, after 9-11 but not too far after

try to find blocked places!!

Actually its a shame that you can hit other parts of the country with this ... tried to find Camp Butler in Oki and it doesnt work LOL ...

its not just this thread. threads like this have been around before, and i have contributed. the point i was trying to make is that it seems as though you are trying to think of ways to get your post count up. you have started SOOOOO many random threads, and sooo often, that it is somewhat annoying. i really dont care if it is every once in a while, but it has become extensive. anyway, lets make ammends, and post cool mapquest stuff
