Discovery Channel Has Created my next Obsession!

I was watching a program on Superpredators and up comes a segment on Megaladon Sharks. A shark approximately 60 feet long and fast as lighting...it was said to feed upon Whales. A few weeks ago, I got married (legally) and went to Monterrey, Ca for a bit of a Honeymoon. While down there my wife and I went to the Monterrey Bay Aquarium and saw laying before us, a Megaladon Tooth approx five inches in length. The people there didn't know what it was, they thought it was a fake and paid it no real attention. I wanted to buy it, as it was really awesome but the volunteers wouldn't be a part of my plan.
This leads me to the reason I made this post. My wife went online and searched for a tooth for me, and found this. This is one of the largest teeth found of any shark, it was only 28,000.00 in USD. Somehow this won't be ending up in my collection of "things that can kill you". Enjoy the tooth and yes it's real.

Anywhere from 1.6 to 25 million years ago. This was taken from something I read.

How big is the tooth? I have a couple that are about 4 inches long already, looking for larger teeth, so eventually I can create an entire jaw. It'll be a life long project -funds an' all.

Apparently they have a PADI specialty certification for shark tooth hunting.

                  Shartley,
I do buy the smaller teeth, but this is roughly 8" in overall length, and the condition of the teeth is most often "rough" at best. I want almost perfectly fossilized teeth so I'll end up paying well over a grand -closer to ten per tooth for the largest...Hence me only owning small teeth (4-5 inches)
