    snowboard rails

i was hitting a rail nicely on my snowboard and doing pretty good boardslides untill i came up on the ramp to fast. i fell back and fell on my bum, then came down off the rail (about 4-5 ft high?) and fell on my head. my head doesnt really hurt just my bum. has this ever happened to anyone, cuz everytime i sit down i get a really sharp pain up my back and it SUCKS!!! i also waddle when i walk, i just felt like sharing

ive taken some pretty nasty falls trying 3's.. i was hitting a step up, the lip was like 3-4 feet off the jump, and i was a decent hight up after i hit it, i started spinning and as soon as i did, i could tell something was wrong... i landed right on my tailbone...im glad i didnt break it.

I hae been injured twice this year, both times on rails. The first time was a disaster to f/s lipslide, sprained my shoulder, got a concussion, and bit my tongue. The second time was a crookpress on a box, and I ended up fracturing a vertebrae(sp?). Rails will kill you. But you will look sooo cool doing them!

if you learn to boardslide right, it looks sweet as hell, i can usually pull it off, but i think the worst is probably smashing your ankles on them.. i did it this year once already.. and it still hurts... seriously.

gosh i hate not being able to sit down right.... well while i was there, i fell back and hurt my bum, then i fell boardsliding again and nearly cracked my head open, missing by only few inches, then i had a weird fally off of the rail that killed my ankels. anyway after a million tries i got it and i was sweeeet! i was proud of myself cuz im not really good at sports and stuff and it takes me 2 times longer than other people to learn stuff. im more of a music guy

get a <a href="http://bab.imageg.net/@v=0329@/graphics/product_images/p705497dt.jpg">skycap</a>, its the nicest looking one out there imo....

ive taken my share of shots to the head... and i learned that its much better to smack your head while wearing a helmet rather than just a mere hat...ive had at least one concussion from hittin my head on rails...
