LOL Police do not actively search out recreational marijuana users. If they are called to a location for another problem and find marijuana use, then they act on it. If they see something that puts up a red flag for them, and they discover that the person is in possession or is smoking marijuana then they act on it. But I will not get into that right now, just know that they do.

I have ran from the cops one to many times for smoking. In my town, they do hunt you down for smoking, we had 4 cops chase us through the woods one night, of course, they couldnt catch us.

Shartley, i am almost 18 years old, and i was doing nothing wrong, we were just going for a walk in the woods and cops come, even when we arnt doing anything bad, like riding bikes.

You were just walking in the woods. Public land? What time of night? Seems to me that the police have an obligation to check on any activity being done on public land and even more so at night. And ALMOST 18 does not cut it, sorry. Almost 21 does not make it LEGAL to drink either.

And if you were not doing anything wrong, why did you run?

You think taking away cigarrets will kill the american economy? Well so be it! If it REALLY would (which it wouldnt, you have nothing to back this up with) that just shows how sad and pathetic our nation is (which it isnt.) Like I said, which you couldnt answer, what do you get out of smoking? Really? There is not one thing that comes from it, other than you kill youself and piss non-smokers off.

i think smoking is a bad thing. i think it would be a good thing if people stopped smoking. it personally affects me in no way. hoever, i belive in freedom, and freedom does not entail forcing people to stop doing something that causes terminal/debilitating diseases after many years of use.
but seeing as you have never purchased cigarettes you wouldn't know the ungodly amounts of taxes that accompany them. when you think of how much extra one pack costs, multiplied by the sheer amount purchased every day, it adds up. not to mention the amount of jobs produced by their presence. it may not affect you directly right away, but if cigarettes were banned, it would create more competetition for jobs which means payrates go down, etc, etc. which could only lead to fewer luxuries you can afford(paintball).

So, shartley, your saying that its good that its illegal because its bad for you... thats pretty much the only reason why you think it should be illegal. Well cheeseburgers and greasy fast food is bad for you... mabe we should make that illegal, hell its addictive too, you know most people can't control themselves when eating cheesburgers, so mabe we should control it for them and make it illegal then, everyone can be healthy and in shape. Because its good that the government decides whats good for us and not ourselfs. I dont know if you understand my point, I don't feel like explaining it...
