Back from Korea and Non-disclosed Location #2

First of all im very glad to see that the AO jersey thing that I tried to do myself (and failed misserably btw) Took off and looks amazing now!

Secondly, sorry about being gone for so long cant go on to much about where ive been other than korea... but im back now! Im now stationed at Luke AFB AZ and still getting settled back in to my former stomping grounds. Good news is the UberGimp minimag was not lost to the infamous military movers. And now that im back in the states its about time it gets some love again!

Nah when I was in Korea.. I was at Kunsan, I ran the Midshift Arm Shop for a while and then moved to the 80th FS to load for them.

I cant say korea was a bad place, I had a great time there once ppl stopped trying to funnel soju down my throat. Had some great times, and made some insane friends. But the paintball there sucked!

did u eat lots of kim-chi? i love that stuff and get get enough of it! (my Korean TKD instructor gave me some and i loved it!)

I had some, but I stayed away from the cabbage kim-chi and stuck with the cucumber version. It definatly took disgusting opensewer smell away for an hour or 2.

But most of all, like most americans there, I mostly enjoyed the Bulgohgi(sp) and Yakimandu

haha bulgohgi is one of my fav. dishes.

I personally like the turnip kim-chi the best, but I like most kinds of kim-chi, as long as it's been fermented a bit. Don't like the "fresh" kind.

yeah bulgohgi is great, but my favorite is Kalbi, that and some kimchi and rice and i'm in heaven

i just left osan in october and i must say i had the time of my life. i am going to try and go back there so i can get my BOP. as for the weather it is cold as u know what there now. summer is humid and reminds me alot of the philippines, where everyone is in shorts and no shirts sitting in the bars drinkin O.B. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

good to hear ya made it back in one peice, osan being the speedbump as it is. I heard that place turned into a ghost town after they closed down all the Juicey bars. Korean's version of INS didnt seem to like the 20/20 special on the "Illicit Prostution ring" that was happening there. ROFL!
