An office job might be hard to come by right now due to the economic situation right now of the country, since so many people have lost jobs. Check your local newspaper's job ads, your college probably even has a bulletin board full of flyers of potential work for students. Check the mall also.

As for your people skills, at your age, you better start working on it due to most the jobs in the age are going to be customer involved. Not many people your age have office jobs, so your going to have to deal with customers most likely. Even though you don't like it, definately work on it now because this is something that needs to be addressed before you step foot into what you want your career to be.

I have a family (wife, 3kids, a cat, and a dog). Fortunately I have a good paying job. But even with that good paying job I was at one time forced to get a PT job to pay for my paintball activities. Anyway I was somewhat impressed with the PT job I found. I was delivering newspapers in the early morning hours and raking in just over $200 a week. Not bad for about 10 to 15 hours a week. So I say to you, if you have car and are able to get up in the early a.m. hours (4am), then look into it. Came Christmas and I raked in an additional $1000 in tips from customers. Now, these numbers may not be the same everywhere but what the heck give it a try, you never know . The only drawback is that it is your responsibility to have them papers delivered 7 days a week 365 days a year(rain or snow) and if you need a day off you must find a reliable person to fill in for you and pay them. At least that's how it worked in NJ. It's funny I had some of my friends calling me PaperBoy on the field.

Here is the website for the inventory place. It's been over 10 years since I worked there, so I have no idea how it is now.
