    Linux Question

I'm gonna put linux on my laptop, just so I can play around with it. Does anyone know a good program to take the place of my 'palm desktop' program that I use to sync the palm pilot with the computer, to back up my info?

    Thanks

i've never had any use for it, but i'm sure sourceforge.net would have whatever you're looking for...

          You can try

J-Pilot — Palm OS desktop organizer for Linux, Unix, and macOS
          http://www.jpilot.org/
J-Pilot is a desktop organizer for Palm OS handhelds, and an alternative to the Palm Desktop for people who run Linux, Unix, and macOS. Free software under the GPL.

And if you go with RH or Mandrake they will probably have several included.
