Social Studies Immagration Question.

Ok, we where talking about Immagration and how America has illegel immagrants from Mexico. I asked my teacher but they weren't sure so here is my question. When these people jump the border does the Mexican goverment not know? I mean do they not pay taxes and have a censius (sp) do these people just go "missing" in the goverment database? Sorry if this is a stupied question just figured I would ask.

The Mexican Government under Fox is a relative hard thing to generalize. He is just like the early Mexican leaders (Heurta, Carranzza, Zapata, etc..) They all put this face up as caring for problems but really don't. The government under Fox has stated that they will crack down on illegal immigration to the US, but doesn't do so. The Mexican police constantly cross into the US and shot and US boarder guards who can't fire back. It is a mixed up affair.

To answer your question.

Yes I do believe they know, but it comes to the well, they don't care IMO.

You have to realize that the US/Mexican boarder is the only boarder in the world where a third world country and a developed country are side by side.

Murrieta would have been a great president in my opinion. He had a good background of social work as the social development secretary. I think he could of changed a lot of what is wrong with the US and Mexico right now. I guess we will never know what could have happened. To bad.
