My grandpa was in both the army and the navy, and he told me that if i ever got the crazy idea to join up it better be the navy. He didn't have to much fun sleeping in the korean dirt, and he did have fun sleeping in a clean bed everynight in the navy. Of course my other grandpa was at pearl harbor when it was bombed, and he's not to fond of the whole ship thing. And to round it out dad was in the army during vietnam, and all he told me was to never join the national guard. No, but if I joined, I would go to the Marines... Something about being the Few, the Proud, fits more with me then being an "army of one" ... Marines also has the cooler slogan!
