join my sig, dont u all know that the marines are a branch of the navy. u can have the sitting on a boat all u like with a bunch of men. i almost went into the marines but opted for the air force and love it

Just as a side note, you can't join the seals you have to be as member of a special forces team first (Army Rangers, Marine Recon, Air Force Parajumpers etc.). You can only be recomened by your supperiors. Everybody prolly already knew that though.

I was going to be a flyer in the Air force had the grades but not the vision.

Here at Shepard Air Force Base they call the marines bullets sponges. They said that they run, act as decoys for air force, get shot and they their bodies get blown up by the bombs that the air force drops killing the enemy. haha its kinda sad to know that there all serving one county but all hate each other.

seeing as though the special forces go in before the marines ever do? they are the ones most likely to get action. they get the most chewed up (in proportion to size of the force)

In actial war Special Forces are rarely ever sent in as the first strike (keyword being war). The area is normally heavily bomarded from Navy and Air Force strikes before special forces are inserted. Special Forces are used more during covert actions that require speed and skill while maintaining stealth.

marines all the way, hoorah. here on base the airforce are girls, plain and simple.( no really, theyre not even allowed to play football with us). you guys call us bullet sponges yet we have the lowest casualty rates during battles

actually, thats only true if we're outnumbered, we seem to do better then.

you guys can talk all the trash you want, but you all WISH you could good enough to join the corps.

and as gay as the navy may be, they are more dedicated than any other branch other than the marine corps, they just need to learn how to press their uniforms
