I can only beat legendary in coop mode w/ my friends... bargh, it's too hard on legendary!!!!

BTW, has anyone seen what a hacked version of halo can do? omg, it's great... you can bump into other characters! You ever wanted to be that gold elite? now you can w/ an xbox mod chip and a hacking app. You can do all this other great stuff too... like shoot down dropships... and jump... really really high...

Hurray for halo!! I love that game. We get the big ole network games going all the time. About 2 weeks ago my roomate and I beat it on legendary, in coop. It's actually pretty easy, but it's a lot of fun. It takes a long time. I'm all set for halo 2 now. I can't wait.

We have a modded xbox. Havn't seen a hacked version of halo though. We'll have to check it out.

It's slated to be out sometime in the fourth quarter (Oct.-Dec.) of this year.

I'll pick up HALO when comes out on PC, which is supposed to be this summer.

There isn't a "hacked" version per se. But on my roommate's box we have a "hacked-up" version of Halo that only has the multiplayer stuff in it, and we just play it off the hard drive without the disc.

I've beaten it on legendery by myself it's not that hard. Plus when you beat it on legendery you get a special bonus ending movie..

As a matter of fact I'm about to go over to my friends house to play halo with my other 15 friends (mmm..system link.....)

if anyone wants to play online i will. i can probably beat you all hahaha. and i wouldnt mod your xbox, it can burn out the laser and i also heard that you cant use xbox live if you have a different bios.

Soldering a small rom chip to the mainboard in your XBOX will not burn out the "laser" which is located completely elsewhere (like in the DVD drive).

And if you have the right mod-chip you just need to make sure you turn off the mod before you logon to Live.

[Note: MS says they monitor for modded boxes through the service and will ban your account if they do detect your box is modded.]
