well should iraq ever attack isreal say good by to all the muslims....in all reality my foriegn plan is stay the heck away do what they want us to do ( stop helping isreal) and let themn go at it... the onlything that keeps isreal from taking them all out is the US and when all is said and done we walk in and take thier oil... as for all these countrys should a nuclear, chem or bio weapon be used i believe we should turn thier country into a glass bottem self illuminating parking lot.

Just an FYI, the Muslims in the Middle-East only account for about 20% of the Muslims in the world.

At the end my army consisted of 2 men and a tank, but what the hell we killed saddam we only pissed off 1 billion muslims and spent 48 billion dollars but it is ok as long as there are no more pipe bombs on buses

In a case of pure curiousity, I would love to see Israel go into full-scale war mode. Not necessarily because I want them to kill every muslim they see, but because they have one of, if not THE most effecient military in the world, and seeing it in action would be something.

They have extremely good mechanics and enough experienced pilots that each fighter/bomber they own can fly THREE TIMES as many sorties as one of ours, for example. The plane basically lands, switches pilots, refuels and rearms, and flies back out. I've done a bunch of reading up on the Israeli military and I was impressed with how they operate. If our own military was as effecient as theirs is we'd be unstoppable.

(Note to any military people likely to take offense: I didn't say you guys sucked, I'm just saying Israel's is much more effecient. Its the truth.)

Although I agree with you that the Israeli Military is one of (if not the) best in the world (they have more real life experience because they are always in a conflict), The U.S. does the same thing, if we need to. We have more aircraft, aircraft carriers, mechanics, etc, that we don't need to put that kind of stress on the aircraft or the mechanics. During Operation Enduring Freedom the USS Theodore Roosevelt and the USS Carl Vinson (both aircraft carriers) flew round the clock missions. 12 hours for each carrier per day. this gave the flight deck crews and pilots some time off to rest and be prepared for the next day. Each plane had to tank 2 or 3 (or more) times to stay up for the entire time.
But since we had the resources over there there was no need to push it any further, except with helicopters. The ship I was on had 2 helicopters and 6 pilots. We would run 1 helicopter while the other had preventative maintenance done. So we would run the 1 helicopter all day and each team of two pilots would fly for 6 hours, get out with the rotors turning and send the next set of 2 up for 6 hours. Each set of pilots was flying for 6 hours and then had 12 off before they got into the same aircraft that was still running. The only time we shut down was for a couple of hours to do inspections. Now granted we only did this for a few days at the beginning, but we could have done it indefinetly if we had to.
Just because we have the resources to not have to fly our aircraft round the clock, doesn't mean we are any less effeective than Israel is. We impose our own limitaitons for safety because we have the resources that other countries don't

if you have a suprise attack launched on you by 3 different countries on 3 different sides and you kick all 3 of their asses you have quite a military. a pissed off israel is a serious force to be reckoned with.

Another thing to add to how the Israeli army is so strong, look at what they fight for. An army that is inspired and is fighting for something they believe in so much as to die for it is something to fear. Israel is not only fighting for their country, their fighting for their religion and religious homeland. Their fighting for something that took very long to get, and they don't want to give that up.

I believe that Israel technically launched a premptive strike first....but thats beside the point...

Pound for pound, they are the best fighting force in the world.
