Cheesy 80's and 90's action movies!

I was watchin' "Bloodsport" for the umpteenth time last night. I used to watch these 80's and 90's action movies all the time when I was a teenager and haven't for awhile. This films were so high on the unintentional comedy scale, they should have there own genre. I can't believe some of these movies had that bad of coreography! What was crackin' me up was this "Bloodsport" tournament was supposed to be all these hardcore brothers, but apparently in all their training they never learned to block.

Here's some other choice ones for comedy:

    "Cobra"
    "American Ninja"...all of them.
    "Kickboxer"
    Anything with Chuck Norris.

You know you all watched these...what were your favs?

Ha! What about Time Cop...Van Damme goes back into time and meets himself....once again there is twice the vandamme action! That guy is so in love withhimself he has to have 2 of him in a movie.
My idea for a new VanDamme movie would be about 2 twins who become Time Cops and travel back into time to meet themselves. That would be 4 times the Van Dam Action!!!!!!

What was REALLY funny was they had "Kickboxer" on that night right after "Bloodsport". The opening sequence when Van Damme and his brother are heading through Thailand is truly odd. They have his half brother sporting the seventies porn star mustache, and a flowery shirt opened up. Then you got Van Damme sittin' next to him in jeans, a jean jacket vest with no shirt, and cowboy boots! They stop and buy flowers from a lady and Van Damme holds them with his arm around his bro. How did the director not look at this and go "Umm..guys...this looks a little funny."

"American Ninja" was great...hell, it spawned a term my friends and I still use now: The suck ninja. It's like, this guy had this whole ninja training camp and a private army of ninjas. Yet, when he has them attack Micheal Dudikoff they die or get knocked out in one shot! I don't know about you, but if I trained an army of ninjas I'd want more mileage outta them than that.

There was a really cheesy one that I loved. I can't remember the name. It starred Christopher Lambert (Highlander guy) as an American businessman in Japan. He witnesses an assassination by a ninja cult and then is drug into the fight by a modern day samurai who slices up a trainful of ninjas. The samurai guy is then cut down by the head ninja who in turn is slain by Lambert.

What was the name of this cheesy action/martial arts film?

                        How's this for obscure..."Avenging Force".

It had Micheal Dudikoff and Steve James, the two that teamed up for the "American Ninja" films and they were in Louisianna. Steve James is like a black politician and gets all jacked up, so Dudikoff faces off against this militant racist group in the swamp where they hunt guys for sport. Each one of the guys has a different weapon and costume. It was completely ate up...they later made a rip off of it's idea starring Ice Cube called "Surviving the Game."

That Christopher Lambert movie you were mentioning 1stdeadeye...I don't know, I can picture the video box for it I just can't remember the name of it.

I think you're talking about "The Hunted". John Lone played the ninja leader that chops off Joan Chen's head. I like the fight scene in the train when the woman ninja slices off her own face.
