Please people 1 sig posting per thread. Think of all the dial up users! When I am on my laptop, it takes forever to look at threads. Be kind and turn it off after 1 post!

I understand that, but you would get more posts per page. Less pages to load, less time. Also how many times do you want to see the same sig. It gets old fast!

You guys realize that even if the pic is posted 5 times in the same page, once it is loaded for the first instance, it all becomes cached on your harddrive and has no effect on further transfer speeds.

The only problems I would foresee are with slower PROCESSORS and computers with little RAM.

Btw, it still won't get you more posts per page if everyone turns off their sig. I think the mods set this forum at 20 per page. So we could each post 1 post that had only one character in it, making the whole thread only about 5 folds in a web-browser.

i dont really care because sig images dont really bother me and yes, whoever said that there are a fixed number of posts per page is correct. you can actually set this in your user cp so you could have 50PPP i think anyways. but people whine about it and its not that hard to take it out so why leave it.

I like people sigs, it gives them a little personality. I think I would get bored if there where no sigs but thats just me.
