Computer Games.. need something im bored

At my moms i have cable so i can paly games like CS but at my dads i dont have fast intertnet so i dont paly internet games there.

I need some good single player games. Need some links to sites about different games or if u have some ideas about some.

Im sick and on some medicine right now so im thinking werid so that might not make since.

Try Unreal 2: The Awakening

If you have the hardware to run it, it's absolutely gorgeous!

Get Age of Empires II or GTA II and Vice City. I play those regularly. Along with CS

If you have even 56K You can play diablo II:Lord of destruction online...its GREAT, and has decent graphics.

i have 1.4 ghz p4 with ATI 7500 and 256 ram (i tihnk). Ill try some suggestions tonight thanks.

Is Unreal 2 a sequal to UNreal Tournament cuz they just made UT2k3

BTW id like the games to be a first person shooter, good grafx, require thinking, decent sized maps, multiple guns, have a great single player mode and a great multiplayer mode(i can play at my moms with cable).

Unreal 2 looks pretty cool and so does Medal of Honor.

Medal of Honor, UT is good as well.

Unreal 2 is basically the single player version of Unreal 2k3... about 5(ish) years ago the original Unreal came out to compete with Quake II... now they just finished the sequel to that...

As for games, Definately get Medal of Honor... GREAT game! If you havent already, Aliens Vs Predator 2 is a GREAT single player experience... seriously it scared the crap out of me more then once... Ummm... I like alot of RTS's too, so Red Alert 2, Homeworld, or Age of Empires are also some good choices. All of these should run great on your system, you might get some slowdown with Unreal 2, or UT2k3, but if you turn down the resolution it will be fine...

Both Unreal II and C&C Generals are good games but your video card won't run them at their highs settings. Time to upgrade man. Ghost Recaon is fun but difficult (that whole one shot-one kill thing). Medal of Honor is cool too, its my second favorite FPS (Star Trek Elite Force is my favorite I so can't wait for Elite Force 2).

Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is really good too. I mean, who doesn't like slicing Storm Troopers with a lightsaber. Or throwing a Rodian off a cliff with the Force Grip. Or...well you get the picture.

A slightly older game (but excellent none-the-less) is Deus Ex. Great SP story. One of the best games ever.

Well, those are my suggestions. I'll come up with more later.
