Like I said, I worked there for over a year, and I set a record for employee late fees!! Over $100!!! WOOT!!! Actually, I don't think that's something to brag about, but oh well. What most people don't realize about Blockbuster employees is that we really hate our jobs. We're just there to earn money, we really could give a crap less about Blockbuster. So, next time you snap on an employee (unless they REALLY deserve it), just think how you might feel if you were the employee.

Go with Netflix for DVD's. They come to you, and the selection is incredible. It great when the nearest video store is about really far away.

See, I'm in Arizona ... and their testing their "netflix battle" type program .... they're tired of losing money to Netflix so they have a program here where they charge you 19.95 a month and you get 2 dvd's out for an unlimited amount of time and you can rent as many as you want over and over, but with 2 out at a time ... exactly like NETFLIX.

Its cool ... cause Blockbuster is about 1/4 of a mile away from me .. so I rent a movie every day or so since I cant sleep late at night.

          Sincerely,
          Dave K

All video stores suck, we don't have a loacl blockbuster and the only thing local is Hollywood video. I can't rent anything and I have the membership card with my name in the computer, but yet being 14 I have no ID so I can't rent ****. Thats why i stoped renting movies and games.

Check out a local Babbages, Funcoland, or Gamestop (they are all owned by the same company). I got a used copy of MechAssault from them + I have one of their discount cards for an additional 10% off.

Buy the game there, and if you still have the case from the one that was "lost" put that copy in there. It will save you some money, and hopefully you can later recover the copy that was "lost."

Unfortunately, you do still have to pay for a copy of the game (but it will be cheaper than BB's quote); but you may end up with a copy of MechAssault to keep. All of this provides you still have the BB case to return it in.

I'm not under the alkafluence of inkahol that some thinkle peep I am. It's just the drunker I sit here the longer I get...

Yeah thats what I was planning on doing, but first I was going to check AO and a few other places/people to see if I can get a copy even cheaper. Electronics Botique wanted 45 bucks for a USED copy, when I could buy a new one for 50!!

Aceman, just go buy the game and tell 'em you *found* it. That way you don't pay more than retail.

Well, they still charge you the late fees, regardless of the fact that it wasn't lost.
