lesto? I think it's quick, maybe it's quickly.

I haven't heard the word coche in a long time... mostly because it seems to be used alot to describe a very old car...

              El carro es muy rapido...

              El carro es muy lento...

              Ese carro es extremadamente rapido...

              Estar:

              Ese carro era rapido...

I can't really think of any way of using estar in the sentence an make it sound right... don't ask about accents cause it's been a while...

well, first off carro means cart, like shoping cart

say. El auto es rapido(translation, the car is fast)

                for estar say

el auto esta en la calle (the car is on the street)

                or say this

el auto, que estas en la calle es muy rapido( the car that is on the street, is very fast)

                Your welcome

                Chile Boy

and if im worng, dont hold me to it, i can never use the 2 damn verbs correctly, if i am wrong tell me, as i need to know!

ser is used as a "permanent" and estar is used for "changing"

                  like:

                  esta bien

es muy comico (personality wise funny)

so i believe "chile boy" is correct in the verbs.

But I too may be wrong.
*EDIT* Carro CAN be used for car but it isn't the best choice

Not necessarily. It depends on the country the Spanish is spoken. In Colombia carro is car.

And to make things worse, I need to take spanish 4, which is harder, older and mean teacher too.

                          Same goes for mexico...

But yeah the appropriate word would be auto

Carro, auto, coche... they all mean basically the same thing... a car...

best bet is to go with magman007 sayings...
