I watched the video from which that audio came from, it was called Atomic Cafe I think. In the 50's Uncle Sam actually used propaganda like this to take away the fear from citizens, making them believe they would survive nuclear warfare if they did what they were supposed to.

Damn you people and your cliche`s....I swear, the first 5 responses to anything like this is "I feel like a dumber person," or something along those lines.

I found this quite educational and informative. I was never taught how to survive an atomic attack in school. Now I feel safe.

Hey Jack, make sure you tell us all where you found your turtle shell at and how much it cost so we can all be ready!

Really though.."Duck and Cover" is a useful technique for many of lifes emergencies...for instance...

                    1. Earthquake. Duck and cover to avoid getting hit by debris.

                    2. Tornado. Duck and cover thereby making your body impossible for a tornado to hurt you.

                    3. Flood. Duck and cover while the raging water passes over you.

                    4. Mugging. By ducking and covering you may confuse an attacker and you will be left alone.

                    5. Angry Girlfriend. If she asks you if she looks fat in those jeans and you pause for about 5 milliseconds.....guess what...you got it, Duck and Cover.

                      AP exam for what subject?
