Class Rank

holy crap, i just got my transcript from my freshman and half of my sophmore year, and it turns out that i'm ranked 55th out of 585 students at my school!

i'm just curious if anyoen else knows what their class rank is/was

my school doesnt officially rank students.

however, guestomating....prolly top 25 of 99 at my private high school....oh yeh, and last year we sent 20+ students to Duke University and 13 more to Ivy League and prolly 40-60 to University Of North Carolina

I dunno where exactly, but I think I'm in the 80s out of like 300. I do know that lilsnowpixie is 7th in 300, mostly because she rubs it in my face.

I know when I graduated highschool last year I was ranked 50 outta about 300 in my class. I think class rank isn't really all that important because it doesn't reflect what classes you took, only the overall GPA you have. So a person that takes all the easy classes like woodshop and automechanics and gets A's in those easy classes could be ranked higher than someone that took all the hard classes and got a bit lower grades. I know that if all that was factored in that I would have easily been in the top 15 of my class.

before i moved to new york, i was number 6 out of 309 to be exact. As of now, i have no clue, but it is pretty high i would think.

I have a friend who is definitely 1 in our high school. He's a senior and he's never made a B in his life and he takes the hardest classes possible.

4th out of 600+, and thats taking all Honors and AP classes. The funny thing is I hardly ever study and I'm incredibly lazy but everyone else in the top 25 of my class does nothing but eat sleep and study. I've never made below a 95 in a class.

I tell my teachers I'm not lazy, just efficent .

Well, according to the convocation ceremony at my school, 90% of my class ranked in the top 10% and something like 60% were valedictorians. My HS did not rank.
