nope.. duck stance is when you angle both of your bindings outward instead of just the front one.

dropkick: this is nothing related to skateboarding

actually i think he means that his feet are angled toward the outside of the board. most people ride with them on a 0* angle

EDIT: look at his pic ^^^^

                hehheheheheh SPIDER MONKEY!

Nah, I've tried riding duck. Can't get used to it.

I ride with both feet at the same angle downhill. (pointed at like a 35 degree angle toword the board tip).

I've always rode that way. Don't know if its easier or more difficult. My feet aren't at massive angles but probably 10-15 degrees. I always figured it made sense for a sport that you can spend just as much time oriented either way...plus, if you are riding a narrow board, it decreases the amount of toe you have hanging over. My board now is pretty wide and I could probably switch to 0 degrees if I ever find myself on snow again....

I ride with my front foot at about 15-17 degrees pointed downhill and my rear about 5 degrees downhill. I like to do all forms of boarding from cutting up the mountain with turns and hops to carving down and riding powder. This combination seems to let me do a bit of everything happily.

I ride a Burton Canyon board. Cos I am a big guy and need the floater for the powder.

I just got back from a fantastic trip to Andorra. Been working on my powder and jumps (well hops' but at least I am getting air!)

One of my buddies ran into a fence in the deep powder bowl we found, as I came passed I managed to find a lip and just flew over it way cool.

Nothing like leaning back and carving down though powder. I don't think there is a closer feeling to flying/floating.

agreed. i just got home from Vermont, and i was up in new hampshire a few weeks ago, awesome "backcountry"(i guess you could call it) riding. right now, im riding a 2k3 k2 gamma, 156. my brother rides a canyon. my bindings are front-15* downhill back-12* uphill (pretty much normal duckstance).

Yeah, I ride duck-footed. The best for riding regualar and switch. I normally have my binding set so the Front binding is 15degrees and the back is -15degrees. Really helps with spins as well. Too bad Washington hasn't had much of a season so I haven't even gone up this year unlike last year where I was going almost 4 times a week, gotta love cheap season's passes

Yeah, I only live about 35 minutes or so from the nearest mountain so I'd just toss all my gear in my car before school and leave when school got out and was up there ready to go by about 3pm. and back home to do homework by 10:30pm. Man that was a fun season. Too bad they just had to add about 8 new rails to the park the season that I decide isn't worthy to spend money on a season's pass.
