1.My dad bought 12 roses for my mom.
Mi papa compro doce rosas por mi mama

2.My mom looked at some Valentine cards.
Mi mama miro alguien Valentin tarjetas

3.My sister ate a lot of chocolate.
Mi hermana comio mucho de chocolate.

    4.My brother wrote some letters.
Mi hermano escribion cartas a alguien.

5.My family gave each other gifts
Mi familia daron uno al otro regalos.

If you can help PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me and respond TONIGHT (Feb 18 or early morning the 19 like before 7 Central Time)

I need someone to respond that KNOWS spanish pretty good.
I know that there are accent marks missing and I know where they go so don't post that

I think the ending for Ellos/Ellas/Usteds is ieron, not on...

Its been a little while since i've used it, but as memory serves "por" should be "para" and use "padre" and "madre" for "papa" and "mama."

Also in the 3rd sentence i don't think the "de" is necissary, the "of" is implied.

If i'm wrong, undoubtably, someone will correct me.

I dunno bout the por and para, I always mix those up too.

Papa is fine, it's just less formal than padre (I THINK).

If you have time, PM rowbuddy...he's a fluent spanish speaker...helps me out all the time, I'm sure he'd be more than happy to help you.

**edit** I think meat popsicle is right aboot the de in sentence 3, too...emphasis on THINK!!

                  Here's my 2 cents

1.My dad bought 12 roses for my mom.
Mi papa le compro una docena de rosas para mi mama

2.My mom looked at some Valentine cards.
Mi mama miro algunas tarjetas de san Valentins.

3.My sister ate a lot of chocolate.
                  Mi hermana comio mucho chocolate.

                  4.My brother wrote some letters.
                  Mi hermano escribio algunas cartas.

5.My family gave each other gifts
                  Mi familia se intercambiaron regalos.

                  I guess it's too late...
