    Any rowers on AO?

Hey guys, I am on my school's crew team and I just wanted to know if there was anybody else with experience. Share your experiences here!! If you picked no, is it because there isn't an oppurtunity where you live?

CREW ROCKS!!! IT'S LIKE MY DAILY ADRENALINE FIX, BECAUSE SOME OF US CAN'T AFFORD TO PLAY PAINTBALL EVERY DAY!!!

I rowed for my highschool for a year and a half in PA. It was the worst 1.5 years of my life. If the coach died tomorrow I would throw a giant party. I enjoyed rowing but every rowing coach I have met belongs in h3ll.

sry I had to let that out, good luck with crew though

Quiet - AWESOME!! I haven't had the chance to do one of those, I've had uber-experience in rowing shells, canoes, rowboats, but NO DRAGON BOATS!! What are they like?? It's like (one of my many) dream(s) to be in one of those.

NuthyN - Jeez that's awful!! Too bad... give it another shot?

I cox'ed for a short while. Didnt really get into it... How do you really spell it? coxswain? My butt kept falling asleep on that god-awful seat.

EDIT: Funny thing about the pies...If you were late to practice, you had to bring a pie next time for all the peeps. Coach liked apple i think...

lol our coach does somethin with pies, too.

And yes, coxing can suck...that's what I did ALL last season, simply cuz I was the lightest starboard, and we had an extra starboard. Rowin this year though!!

                      (spelling: coxswain)
