fisrt surgery this morning!!

This morning I got surgery on my thumb. This was my first time in surgery. They cut open my thumb and put a plate on the 2 bones and screwed them together. I have been groggy all afternoon because they put me to sleep. That was so cool. Like the doctor told me I was going to go to sleep and thats the last thing i remember. Next thing i knew i felt like i was waking up from a dream and I didnt know where I was. Cant wait till he takes the screws out

Cool! I'm doing same thing in about 12 hours. Pulling rod out my leg... You got stitches/staples? Those are fun to get removed.

as far as I know i have stitches. They had a splint on me when i woke up so I havnt got to see it yet.

I've had probably.. 10 or so surgerys. Fun stuff.
Miscue- I had a rod pulled outta my leg too .. But it went in trying to help out my leg.. then it got infected and ate away at my leg. Big hole in it

I have had two surgeries. The best part was the morphine drip....mmmm sweet sweet morphine.... drooolll...
