No reason really, just contemplating going there, if I have the money."What we have to accomplish at this time is all the more clear: relentless criticism of all existing conditions, relentless in the sense that the criticism is not afraid of its findings and just as little afraid of the conflict with the powers that be."

I went to a Jesuit high school. St. Peters Prep, in NJ.
Anyone thinking about going to a Jesuit school gets my highest reccomendation. Lots of my friends went to many different schools, and I think that I got the best education by going to Jesuit school.
A lot of my work in high school was MORE involved than the work I've done in college.
My senior year I had to write a 30 page research paper on Paradise Lost for my AP English class. My college offers an entire COURSE on Milton, and the final paper is only a FIFTEEN page paper on Paradise Lost.
Easily worth the money, and it will be one of the best experiences you've ever had.

I go to a Jesuit Univerisy, U of D Mercy (kinda combined with the Sisters of Mercy).
Expensive, yeah, Good programs, yeah.
Its not bad, most of the priests on campus are pretty cool... a few even party with us sometimes...
Its the sisters you have to watch out for...

Yeah. It's right down the street from me now. Not a bad school but I chose not to go there. If you're going to go to a private boarding school there are far better choices in my opinion.Comment

not being catholic, but rather a Baptist, I am not familiar with the distinctions of the Priesthood or whatever it may be called.
We call the Jesuits "Father", while I'm not Catholic, I still see them as a religious leader, just like a pastor, and I use the honorific that is prescribed.
From what I've learned about Jesuits in general though, they're a strange group to say the least. their history is pretty cool too.

It's not a boarding school, and it's the best private school in the state.Originally posted by ShooterJM
