Yeah, it's a touchy situation that's for sure. There doesn't seem to be a really good way of having paintball markers in the game without making it look bad. At the same time, we can't use real guns to create dangerous situations. I wonder what Tom would think about this...hehe. He always has the answer!

Our company was bought out by Activision, who currently owns a lot of superhero licenses.

How much longer do you have before you finish? I'm sure if you keep in touch with me, I can probably get you a job. We're always looking for quality people in all areas, game design, programming, art(particle effects, terrain builders, animators both in-game and pre-rendered, textures, concept artists).

Get your demo polished up, or if you know how to work with flash or director, get some sort of interactive demo together. The more you show that you understand the kind of work that's needed to make a game, the better chance you have. We've also found that people who actually have the skill to draw on paper actually do really well and helps with getting a job as a lead artist or creative director.

fire glue balls. of course the volume of goo in the ball will in no way be realistic. so one ball will cover a person and get him stuck wherever he is.

seems the default in cartoons is lasers that don't burn. instead they just knock people around. so anytime someone gets shot they just get knocked down.
