      Um...

I do about 2 all-nighters every 2 or 3 weeks completing homework. About a week long daylight-to-sunlight studying about once a month for an exam. So is college life.

I remember when I was in high school and thought it was hard. Looking back, it was a cake walk. Engineering weeds out not the dumb kids, but the ones who don't work hard.

Keep working hard man, er... working hard for those 15 minutes a day.

Machina, wait til the AP exam rolls around. It's one hell of a time preparing for those, but the advantage is, studying for the final exam will be a breeze after the AP test.

              Not much homework.

Just studying for Chemistry and doing the Chemistry test hints once every two weeks or so. Then there is also doing the honors page (written part of the test) the night before we take it in class, but I shouldn't be complaining.

              Other then that, nada.

I get anywhere from an hour to two hours. I can compress it into about 30 minutes though. I have 2 AP classes, adv. chem, and a joke for a math class( I suck at math. My other classes are tech classes(Computer animation and Metals/welding) and they don't have hw

My university reccomends to study for 2-3 hours for every hour in class... Now add in 17 credit hours, so thats roughly 17 hours a week in school, and you get about 34-51 hours a week of reccomended study/homework time...

of the 34-51 that is reccomended, I usually get about 10-15 in, which is no small feat... Until like nippinout said the finals come around, then its all about cramming...

I would definately reccomend taking as many AP classes as you can if your the college-bound type. I am still kicking myself for not passing the tests. I took 4 AP classes in HS, and didn't pass one AP test. So it was basically just preparing me for college and it did a pretty good job of it too.

                      Koosh,

Here in washington, we have the "running-start" program, where you can take up to 18 credits a quarter at a junior college (commmunity college, we call 'em here).

I took 10-15 credits a quarter for 2 years, basically skipping junior and senior year of highschool.

I started my freshman year ('still at a JC, cuz I goofed off a bit ) with 75 credits

Yeah, you're supposed to get 2 hours of study for every hour you're in class, and you're in class for about an hour each day for every class... should be 6 hours of study a day, but I only get that when I'm either cramming for a test, or doing what I'm doing right now:

got a paper due in 15 hours and just started

...oh wait.. WTF am I doing on AO!?!?!

I usualy don't do my homework unless its something simple and not too complicated or if its something worth alot of points, I almost never do math homework because we have to copy the problems out of the book after school to get the homework... SO i just don't bother at all unless its a worksheet, then I usualy copy... I realy should start working harder mabe I can bring all my c's to b's and a's...

Are ALL those credits accepted at a University? I mean, it takes something like 130 credits to graduate at Colorado State, and starting your "freshman" year with 75 credits would be very cool to do. No community college does that around here, although they do have the shared credit program where you can go to the Comm. College and transfer your credits directly to the university. Its helpful to take the Core Corriculum (classes EVERYONE must take, regardless of major) at a community college for the cheaper school, then transfer it directly to the university.

Not all of them go to universities but a number of the credits do.
