This is a very sad day

For all of us who study eastern European studies and have true hope for the country of Serbia, today is a sad day. Today a great man died. A father of three and only 50 years old. A man who has risen to power by uniting his once terrorized country under the rule of Milosevic. This man was a great man who died way too soon. I have no idea what will happen now. I just hope my fears are not meet, and nothing more will come and Serbia will continue on its upward movement.

      Not very good news.

We are agreeing again! Uh oh.

It is quite sad that a sitting Prime Minister of any country could be gunned down by mobsters. The fact that Djindjic was killed the way he was will most certainly lead to more unrest in Serbia. They have a few people in custody, but the damage has been done to a fledgling democracy.

I dunno about you guys... would this be considered "Terrorism" ? IMO, it is.

Na, it was an murder, I wouldn't classify it as terrorism

And wwI started through the shooting of the archduke, but we don't have those alliances so, I doubt anything like that will come of it.

Yeah, no duh it's murder, but it's murder with the intent to cause political unrest and instability (i'm assuming). If that's the case, I'll stand by my "terrorism" classification.

Don't turn this into a debate.
