Well, with all the debating in the 2 iraq/nk threads, I've seen some things being mentioned that have been mentioned before.
I forget who, but someone mentioned "we used to think that the world was flat, so therefore we can't be sure of anything that we think is a truth today because we'll look back at it 30 years from now and realize how stupid we were."

I don't think that this statement is true at all.
We used to think that the world was flat because that's what we perceived. Nowadays research that is done needs to be backed up with imperical evidence, not simple conjectures or assumptions based upon observations. Something AO is also based upon. (Eat your heart out WAS)
We know now, that the world is round and I don't think that's going to change.
