    Why?

    <rant>
    Why must every thread about iraq, or korea or the un or what ever be closed, each thread ive seen closed does not talk about the stickied threads and are differing topics, but the mods seem to classify all iraq talk to one big argument up top, some of us dont feel like reading 300some odd replys about bickering, and perhaps we would like to see something about current events.
    </rant>

    ...that is all

      Hey dansim...to answer your question from that other thread...why all the nukes in north dakota? I think it is probably because of its location and remoteness. We could launch ICBMs over canada at Russia from ND with no problems. Also, the state has less than a million people total, so not very many people to try and snoop around the underground silos. But from what I know, most of the silos are decomissioned.

        Also if targeted by the enemy, being around less populated parts of the country means less collateral damage caused by trying to take them out.

          Ive seen sites that have decomissoned silos for sale. It would be kinda cool to buy one and turn into a house. But I guess they have serious problems with the ground water leaking in, tho.

                    How many state reps do they have? Maybe that is what I was thinking....1 House vote? Gonna go check on that.

                      They have 3 representatives in the Legislature. One Representitive in the House and 2 Senators in the Senate!
