    Money Orders...

Hey, I have a few questions regarding money orders and would appreciate it if someone could give me a hand.

    1. Where could I cash a Wells Fargo money order? Any bank for no additional charge? (I'm only used to cashing Post Office ones)

    2. What if the person who sent me the money order accidentally signed his name on the place where it says for me to endorse? (Yes, I know. that was dumb of him. He even wrote me a letter saying he was sorry and that it was an accident -- I'll scan it in if some of you want some cheap entertainment haha).

    Thanks

    -Ron

You should be able to cash it in at any bank. I wouldn't worry about the name thing...just cross it out and endorse it yourself. (I would think.)

        Simple

Counter sign under his signature. Unless you have a Wells Fargo Bank near you, you are out of luck. You will have to either cash it or deposit it at your own bank. If you have no account, have your parents cash it or you will have to take it to a check cashing agency and pay their fees!

P.S. I am a VP at a large bank. Also worked as a teller here during college so I kind of know about this.
