Bush speech

Every single word that he mindlessly read off that teleprompter was 100% *horse puckey.* I hope I'm not the only one with the ability to comprehend words, or else this country is all lined up for it's big wake-up call.

While I can't argue with you, I trust him. He has about 1,000 people who know 1,000 times more than any of us about this behind him that wouldn't let him do the wrong thing.

That's my 2 cents.

You know what, go ahead flame the ccrap out of me. Come on collegeboy, bring it. I tihnk we have a damn good reason for invading iraq, they pose a major threat to everyone, especially our close ally, israel. You know, you people should be greatful. If it wernt for us, the Middle east will be so much different. We try so hard to keep peace and to spread democracy. The world would be so much different if without us. We are doing this for humanitarian purposes also. The iraqi people are gettin screwed over by Suddam. Its amazing how in the last iraq election, Suddam got 100% of the votes?

I won't even acknowledge remarks by people who can't spell "Saddam" when it's so publicized lately. I like the part where the terrorist threat WILL BE ELIMINATED when Saddam is removed from power. That's cute. Keep supporting our murderous "allies" in Israel too, we wouldn't want to give the rich a bad name, now would we?

This is not a very mature arguement now is it? State your case not curse words!

You just made it clear to everyone that you not only don't know what's going on in the world, but didn't even watch the speech. Thank you.

And he's right, you cant put all of the blame on the president, there is 535 people (that you elected) behind him, helping him make the decisions as well. The people above (not directly) are a perfect example for my new theory: Most don't disagree with war and disarming iraq (do you really want a regime that kills its people, hates you and your country, and has chemical, biological, and possibly nuclear weapons that it would love to give to terrorist), they just can't stand and even hate Bush so much that they will not believe what he is saying and will disagree no matter what. I can't believe how stupid people are when they fully believe that when we go into Iraq it will be a "civilian blood bath". Can anyone give a good reason not to go in Iraq? This may sound evil, but I rather have them die than my family and friends.

Peronally, I am completely pro war. It is just disheartening to know that going into Iraq without complete UN support with give a bad example to other countries in the future and will force our nation to bear nearly all of the costs.

If I were Sadam, giving no possiblity to rule again and already order out, I would strike first and inflict as much damage as possible. He is probably already on the run, have given his forces their orders. He has nothing to loose and will do all that he can to kill the infidells.

Im starting to get dizzy typing this, too many tostadas. Sorry for spelling/gramatical errors. Remeber this is coming from a 16 year old and your on an open public forum, so dont beleive all that you hear.
I throw newspapers for the OC Register, it sucks...

Not necessarily, but I see your point. I just think that maybe we elected this guy for a reason. Again this is just me, I'm not going to get into an argument over this. With that I'm out of this thread ...

EDIT:
they just can't stand and even hate Bush so much that they will not believe what he is saying and will disagree no matter what.
Because our generation is a generation of rebels. No one wants to give into the "norm" so everyone tries to find a way to beat the system or something. Not to mention, this is the internet, a place where even social rejects are accepted because of their witty comments and quick comebacks. And with THAT, I am out of this thread :)

I really didn't like his ultimatum, but what else is there to do? We will own Saddam, he will fight tooth-and-nail, we will suffer a few casualties (hopefully not ) and we will win. As for North Korea, we can just sic China and Russia on them.

Obviously not... If his father whould have taken care of it back then, we wouldnt even be talking about it.

Wow you must not know much, no offense. We will probably suffer a lot of casualties, he has nothing to loose and will do ALL that he can. His regime is over. No way can we just "sic China and Russia on [North Korea", especially when they arent backing us now!!
