Well, it seems I shall be going to key largo and key west on wenesday, want to know if anyone has been their, if it is boring. Also would like to know if their is anything worth going to see.

It all depends on what sort of stuff you want to see.
In a word, Key West is touristy. It's a stopping point for cruise ships, if that tells you anything. Lots of kitschy T-shirt shops, souvenir stands, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Jimmy Buffet's Maragaritaville, so on and so forth. If that sort of stuff floats your boat, great. If not, you may be kind of nonplussed. There are a few good restaurants in the city, though, especially if you're into seafood. Any good guide book (eg. Frommer's, Fodors) will list them. Some of the open-air performers can be interesting, too. If you're stuck in the area, you may as well check them out. The Catman is absolutely psychotic but entertaining.
Outside of Key West, I highly recommend going snorkeling in John Pennekamp State Park. It's one of the coolest natural places in the state. Dolphin Research Center is another neat place to visit, and chartering a fishing trip can be a lot of fun, too.
Basically, the fun is out there, you just have to find it. If you don't make an effort, you can just get sucked into the touristy-ness and never escape. My advice is check out frommers.com and/or fodors.com and go in with a plan. Good luck. -
