ok. about the body kit, get it fixed instead of gettign new panels..depending on how many miles are on the engine, you could probably do some nice upgrades and make it a nice little ricer. over all i like it..keep it as a project car cause girls like rice burners.

for those that don't know:
MR2 - Mid Engine Rear Wheel 2 seater
inline 4. Do you know if it's a turbo or non? Usually you can tell because the back panel under the "hood" on the right side has the word TURBO sort of embossed on there.
I like that scoop tho. Looks alot better then some of the ones I've seen that come over the top of the car. Although I don't think it's really necessary. My Trader Feedback

the sw20 and sw21 are pretty similar but they have a couple differences... I'm not sure what they are just yet though...

it is the naturally aspirated model, don't know 20 or 21. Someone said something about cheap tires, actually those are a brand new set of the Nitto 450's (really nice tire)
still have to wait for the side skirts to be pulled off of another car.
JT...and by golly there will be flavored paint, because i said soComment

well, as a married, over-40 year old x-shade-tree mechanic (The last time I did any major work to a car was about 20 years ago, when I replaced the intake, and heads on a 411 (was bored out and sleeved), 1969 camaro SS big-block) - I don't think that I am concerned with turning the heads of the ladies.Originally posted by johnny dee

she has well in excess of 150,000 miles. rides good (after all teh tune-up work), and the tires are new, and the correct kind for the vehicle. - I am more concerned with reliability and parts not falling off while I drive it, and lastly aesthetics. Thanks, Brent "RamboPreacher" Hoefling, CPPA founder

naturally aspirated? does that mean it doesn't need to be taught how to breath? - heheheheeOriginally posted by thereal_JT

That look's like a Turbo, it's a pretty quick car.
I used to have a T-bar MR2 also
here is the one I had...Comment

How much did you pick it up for? There is one in my area, about the same condition, just wondering.Comment

RP,
Most good boneyards (junkyards for the un-initiated) are computer-linked these days and can track down the parts you're looking for fairly quickly. I found a couple of difficult-to-find-expensive-as-hell-new Toyota rims that way. If you're looking for stock front end pieces, this would be the cheap way to go about it.
