      Dude I Saw That Tank at IAO Last Year!! it was at the Tech Station for Air System's, I asked the guy about it, He Said They Blew It On Purpose!! It Took 28,500lbs' too Blow a 4500lb Tank!!! They took Out All the Safety Feature's and Pumped Air Until it Blew!!! { In A Safe Enviroment}
      They did this So they could Show the Worst Case Scenario,
      of what is Possible with High Pressure Air System's.

              yeh, but if you neglect a tank and allow scratches and such that will happen at a much lower pressure than 28k

                  well thats the main reason you should take care of a tank. avoid damage and have it checked if there is any. many people dont realize just what the tank under their gun is capable of if abused.

                  if it took 28000 to pop it thats cool but a tank should never be overfilled. that one was done for demonstration i guess.

                    Have you ever noticed that you have a Rupture Disc On you're tank, and another on you're Regulator!! {Safety Feature's!!}

                        this is a crossfire steel stubby, 68 ci.

                        I have pictures of the guys injuries, but it's too graphic to post here on ao... but lets just say it looked VERY VERY PAINFUL.

                        It blew at 2400 psi....
