    Wow.. finally playing FF7

Amazing.. I am getting no sleep now. Staying up till 2 and such. Can barely stay awake in class.

Just got to the part were Cloud (Namned Monkey of course) is on the motorcycle fending off other guys protecting the game.

And of course I'm playing it on a stolen PS2 that belongs to a freind.. He'll find out soon. I might have to buy a old ps1 just to play this game.

If anyone else was an idiot and skipped this, go buy a ps1 and this game, right now. Or get it on the computer. But that wouldn't be as fun I think.. it's a consol game.

Yea, I started played 8, and I didn't like it. Everyone else I know too says 8 sucked. I'll take your word for it on 9, and goto X, simply because everyone else says that rocks too. Hmm.. Need a ps2. I hope he lets me keep the system lol.

          Advice:

          Breed Counter Attack Materia!

The combination of a Master Lv. Cover Materia w / multiple master level attacks becomes brutal.

I used 1 Master Cover & 4 Master Counters + 1 Magic Counter w / Meteor. Cloud at lv.99 defeated final Sepheroth without ever getting an attack turn.

Basically every time the enemy attacks you ruthlessly pound them a whole bunch of times and don't even waste your turn. So you can dedicate that to healing up or boosting.

Yes, counter attack is good ...

Oh, and after a while you might want to turn your animations to the quick version, cause the "Knights of the Round" attack towards the end of the game takes about 4mins ..lol.. but its the bomb! Plus, if you combine it with "MIME" you can have everyone do it and nobody stands a chance.

Best Combo in FF7: Master Final Attack, and Master Phoenix Summon. When you die, you attack for a decent amount of damage, and Phoenix casts life2 on everyone...

That was an awesome game, I loved it, and played out EVERYTHING.

I didn't care too much for 8, the ending was totally lame.

9 wasn't horrible, but I didn't finish it, and some stuff was pretty lame...

I havn't played 10 yet, but have seen a little bit of it... it is so sweet....

Was anyone able to defeat ruby or emerald weapons? I never could, even with KotR and mimics.

... I beat the game at lvl 70 or 80 so I wasn't that strong.

i beat the game at like level 50 i believe it was but emerald weapon required at least 70 i think. emerald weapon you needed a special item that took away the time limit. after that start using KotR with mimic and he should die after a half hour.

ruby weapon what i did was i went to another fight and killed my two teammates. that way he cant get rid of them at the begining of the fight and he will lower his defences. then life2 all your party mates. after that i was stumped. he doesnt allow KotR to be used against him and bahumut zero only does so much. he has well over a mllion hp. cloud was at lvl 99 and a the two others i had were lvl 90 and i still couldnt beat him. life2 was equiped on everybody and they all had 9999 health and 999 magic.

i beat emerald and ruby, emerald is super easy cause his one attack does 1111 damage times however many materia a character has, so just get everyone up to 9999hp and give them 2 materia so when he does the attack it will give you lucky 7's (you attack like 50 times in a row doing 7777 damage each time). i forget how i beat ruby, i think he killed everyone except cloud and then i just did knights of the round + hp absorb and then mimed it, and also had final attack + pheonix

I beat the Emerald weapon without getting rid of the time limit or using lucky sevens. I killed it with 3 mins left on the clock using the above mentioned cover and counter technique. All three of my chars did nothing but heal each other while cloud pounded the weapon into dust. Every time the weapon attacked cloud struck back 5 times doing 9999 pts of damage each time. It doesn't take long considering how much it attacks.

For the ruby weapon I went to the area near Midgard and put the enemy I encountered to sleep. I then carefully reduced Barrets HP to 7677 (if you cast mini and frog on someone they only inflict 1 hp per attack).

Then I killed the other 2. The reason for this is so the Weapon doesn't send them out of the battle.

At the beginning of the fight if you have only one char, the weapon sinks its tendrils and won't use that sand storm thing. I then use a potion to give me 100 hp and get all lucky 7's. This does not kill it.

After that I revived the other two and just pounded on him with everything I had. Whenever he pulled his tentacles out, I would pre-emptivly kill two of my chars to keep them in the battle then revive them.

Its a long , tough way to do it, but it works.
