Is there something wrong with me or what?

I'm I getting extremely annoyed for something very minor (It's not over computer usage.. I could really care less.. it's about their logic)..

Ok.. Here's the situation.
2 computers in the house hold. One is mine. One is the familys. I was pretty much the only one that used my computer when I first got it. Everyone else used the family computer. Then I lost it for about a year due to grades. So everyone started using mine, and I had to stick with the crappy family one. No big deal..But now I have gotten mine back.. it seems I can never use it. Someone else is always hogging it.

..Things I do, such as maybe play a game once in a while, or use photoshop and other programs that are only on mine computer. They can't be put on the other computer. It's just too slow.. and not enough memory. That can only be done on this computer. Things such as surf the internet and use aim, can be done on either. That's all my brother does. He needs nothing this computer has exclusevly over the other one. Well.. I don't need it, but I sure as heck would like to use them... However he fails to see the point in using the other one, which works just fine for internet and aim. He just likes this one better. So I can't do the things I want, but he can do the things he wants on either one.

If he needs to do homework.. He'll kick me off. He could easily type something out on the other computer. In fact.. that's the only one that has a working printer. My printer us busted. But the rule is, school work over recreational. I have to get off... Correct me if I'm wrong, but how the heck homework possible if one is on AIM and epsn sports? Granted, I'm on AO and aim during homework too, but he could at least use the other one instead of having to email it school and print there.

If I need to do homework.. and even need a program that is on this to do it, He will fail to see the point to why I need to use this one. "Use the other one, I'm busy" And for some unknown reason, my parents will support him as always, and ask me kindly to use the other one, and that I don't need a program on this computer, and I'm making it all up just to use my computer....

My dad.. He'll be playing Yahoo Bridge. But somehow that priorities over my homework. I will serriously need to use the computer because of something saved on it, but he will tell me to wait like 20 mins untill he's done.


I know things could be worse.. but just.. am I getting all pissed off over nothing, or is there something serriously wrong with my familys logic?

Please.. don't bring up anything like you're lucky you have a computer.. etc.. I'm just talking about their reasoning..

You also might want to reflect on HOW you present your case. HOW you say something is sometimes MORE important than what (the words you use) you say.

Tried the password. It only got me woken up at 6 AM to type in the password. Then "accidently" the computer kept on not working so I had to keep on coming back down and typing it in. Mind you, I live in a seperated part of the house, so I was walking down in the rain. It's too much trouble.

its your comp. so go take it and plop it in your room... if that fails sell it (since you hardly get to use it anyways) keep the money when you move out buy another good one. you could also put a program on there that locks up the comp until you run the other part of itr through a floppy and act like its just messed up lol

If he has to do homework I would just pull plug on reuter. Thats what I do when my sister pulls the homework bs. If she needs to do research 56k is fine. You can't play online games with 56k though.

i have a similar problem, mines in my room and i come up to find my mom using it...its REALLY annoying becuase she takes a while, and she always yells at me for my room being dirty....
