    un-delete

Anyway to undelet files in windows? I'm shure there's a way, but without downloading a specific app?
I'm really interested in cookies. I have a roomate that's deleting the cookies on my puter, I need to find out what he's deleting....

Did you check in your Trash/Recycling Bin? To restore a file go there first and look, and when you find it, simply right click on the file, and choose RESTORE.

    Hope that helps.

If the files are not there... bye bye, they are gone unless they are on a Network and it is set up to catch all deleted files.

Deleting cookies on a computer doesn't put them in your recycle bin. I believe they are removed completely from your computer. Your roommate is probably looking at porn and doesn't want you to know. :)

Thanks ProjectMag, I did not think about that... you are very correct.

Guess we need to mark this one down on the preverbal calendar.

Well, he could always rush the Cookie Monster to the Hospital and give it an X-Ray to see what he ate.

          Cookies:

A text file that is stored on your computer to allow a web page to greet you by name or store information related to you. I wouldn't about it too much if you lose some cookies it's just going to be a little annoying when you have to log into web site where you didn't have to log into before. AO uses cookies to remember who you are each time you come back.

Norton Utilites has a function to allow you to undelete files. You can also put a bios password on your computer so that your roomy can't gain access to your system without your approval.

I hope this helps you out.
