Well, we played at Atomix Paintball in Walled Lake MI on saturday night. Here's some pics:

      Me and the Warped-Sterling-of-Doom! :

(warp worked awesome btw, and the drop brought the tank in so the whole setup is mighty tight!)

Wyn and his brother... whose name escapes me...

Wyn: "I may suck, but at least I look good doing it!"

Potatoboy dropped in towards the end of the evening with... another AOer from my town whose name also escapes me at the moment (I'm pretty bad with names... )

all in all, not the best time I've had playing: the reffing was rather weak (suprisingly), and there were a few annoying twibs practicing the textbook slide-n-wipe...

the evil paint was really inconsistant... and playing 15 on 15 on the field really suited for 7 man kinda sucked...

Its always cool to hang out with the local AO crew though, which generally makes up for on-field annoyances!

all the reactions of people about the warped-sterling were pretty hillarious too, in the pro-shop a guy who was ordering a "new" shocker ( ) immediately wanted to order a warp to go with it , kinda cool if you ask me... especially since there wasn't another AGD product in the shop besides my warp.

The warp was pretty rad though, didn't feed too much or cause any trouble. so there all you anti-pump naysayers!

I like the part about 15 on 15 on a 7 man field. It feels like that on the speedball field where I play sometimes. It's outside and fairly large but a little low on bunkers, bunker sharing isn't fun! I've only played at one other indoor place so I was wondering, how low did you have to set your velocity, what type of floor do they use and how did you like it? Any more pics of that warped sterling?! Looks interesting, I guess you have the sensitivity set up pretty high?!

they chrono to 270, not too slow.

the floor surface is this funky turf, just like the Lions have at Ford Field. Rumor has it that the surface for two fields cost something like $70,000.

Its pretty rad to slide around on.

Both fields at this location are airball.
