    Well, this doesnt really relate, but on the topic of accidently shooting people...

    I was at a tournament today (totaly slaughtered) and in one of the games a guy from the other team ran up to a bunker that was almost directly to the left from me, but I had shot at him while he ran, but I had no idea if he had gotten out or not. My teammate was covering the right side of the bunker I was at (a largish dorito). A ref ran behind the bunker to check the guy out, all the while I was carefully trained on the spot where he would pop out if he hadnt been hit (I was quite certain I didnt get him out at this point). All of a sudden someone JUMPED up and I instantly fired (upwards, as I wasnt expected someone to jump up). I instantly saw that it was a ref, but I one unluckly, unaimed paintball was already on the way and it his the top of his head.

    He was very pissed

        Holy hell! I woulda ripped that gun out of the kid's hand and proceeded to beat him with it. I don't care how new to the sport or young they were. I know two-year-olds with more common sense than that.
        And as for that guy on the hunting trip... That's beyond words.

            Do you know what kind of rifle he was using? I heard some Rems had some issues with their safeties.

                Oh please, give the noob a break. Yes, it was a dangerous situation, but he wasn't accustomed to the game yet. Hell, I can't count how many times some adolescent, "veteran" player forgets to insert his plug and ends up shooting someone in the prep area. It happens to the best of us.

                Not to question the validity of your story but I think it's borderline impossible to shoot someone four times, accidentally, within a 2' sqaure area.

                    Give him a break, but I am a ref and I would have sat him out for good 2 games at least...

                    I mean, I was julling a kid out of a game today (this kid was 12 years old or so) and he shot me pointblank in the arm... It hurt like hell...

                                    BTW, I seem to have the opposite problem that the newbie you encountered had. I seem to forget that my plug is in (don't recall how many games I started by shooting my barrel plug out of my barrel).

                                        We have the same prices which is insane cheap here around Atlanta... Only $60 for a case on Anarchy though...

                                            na.. thats stratford. they play indoor wednesday nights and saturday nights. outdoor sunday at noon. their outdoor isnt open yet though, probably next month some time. they have 10 for entry, 17 for 500.. not sure how much cases are, cause the wednesday night/saturday night games are indoor, 20 shot limit/15 limit games. buy 500 play all night.

                                                            I got shot out by a "n00b" in the first game I played...He was on my team, and shot me on the hand as I had my gun up to shoot! I yelled at him. He was scared

                                                            He was shooting over the bunker, without even looking where he was shooting, just holding the gun up over the board and firing away. Oh well.

                                                            EsPo, were they wearing camo?
