Gunga is not a Moderator "as such" in that he does not perform "Daily Moderation" duties per say. It is not his responsibility to do it but he does have the power too. Since he is an employee and is needed to post official AGD stuff he has the same status to allow him to stickie threads and such. All of them have that. Including Tom, JoAnn and Marcia.

Tom has Admin status. I believe Marcia does too.

Gunga, Kayle, BradAGD and Jon have "Super Moderator" access (I not forgetting anyone am I?). As do all the current appointed Moderators.

Rob, Webby and I have Administrator access too. Tom and Marcia round out the Admin acess group of which actively Tom and Marcia rarely do the "daily admin" routine stuff like IP and Account management stuff. But they have access to do that. They just do not.

But for the most part they do not Moderate threads for content and rules violations in the same way as the regular "Moderators" do.

The Six you see listed Plus Bob Sandifer (Tag) and Rob and Webby do. The nine Appointed non AGD employee Mods and Admins do the needfull for the Forums and some in chat of AO.

The AGD employees (including the off site factory techs like Kayle and BradAGD) take care of the things AGD needs done for AGD in AO.

You will also note some new "Channel Operators" in Chat. They have no Moderation Duties here on Forum but do there. Moderators here are also Chat Operators but there have been a few specific Chat Operators added for that.
