One of the things I don't like about the Raptor series of tanks is the fact that there's no on/off. To stop pressure from the tank, you either have to turn the pressure all the way down to 0, install a slide check, or install a pro-connect.

            on a side note...

I have a 114/3k air america raptor system that includes a cradle, SS hose with quick disconnect AND a slide check for easy on/off The hydro is good until June of 2004 and I only want $150 for the package. LMK

                Raptor bottles rock

I swear by AA and nitro-duck tanks, raptor is my second favorite (armageddons are the best). if you can get a raptor for 189 go for it

                      reg

The preset screw in tank is the same price. What advantages or disadvantages are there to the adjustable raptor reg? Or should i just get the screw in?

well the big advantage is that they are adjustable lol but if u plan on using it on an RT retro or emag then u want adjustable or if u want to use it on low and high pressure guns because with a preset u have to get either one that is high or low and u can only use it for that type of gun so the adjustable ones are just more versitile and stuff hope u can pick through that and find out what i meant

                          yup

I did understand that. It might be more useful to me later if I ever decide to switch guns. What is this on/off that I would need? I guess it doesn't screw into anything? I also need cradle then instead of drop. I think I'm starting to understand.

well the best on off that u could get would prob be a pr connect they work very well u can get a cradle made for a raptor that will fit on dove tail style drops
