Not first hand. It's been around a while, credited to many persons, but I felt it was relevent right now and needed repeating. I do not take any credit for writing it....but wish I did

Besides, an E-5 as a Chaplain? Not likely.

As I read that I pictured the drill instructor from Full Metal Jacket saying that. I love watching his show on the History Channel called Mail Call. Also that was very well stated Army. I don't plan on being in the military but my older brother serves for the Utah National Guard. Most people laugh when I say this but little do they know that he has served in Kuwaitt (was there 6+ months ago) and in Bosnia. He fixes Blackhawks. Right now they are talking about sending his unit to South Korea. I know it's part of his job but I fear for him even though he is "behind the front". Anyways. I've always supported our troops and vets even when I've felt that we don't need to be there. Now more then ever our troops need our support. It sickens me to see people burning the flag right here in the good ol USA.

          NICE

Good post Army. I was wondering if we could ship those people who burn the flag to Iraq. Maybe they would enjoy being apart of Saddams world since its obvious they don't like our freedom here. Its disgusting to see people burning the flag, there is NO excuse for doing such a thing, should come with a hefty jail sentence.

            Very well said Army...

I think people are ok not suporting the war, but if you dont support the troupes, I will kick your ***... Supporting the troups is not the same as the war... .They dont have a choice and are putting their lives on the line for what they believe...

I don't know about the other services but in the Air Force only officers can be chaplins.

                  Otherwise sounds good.

Although I do NOT ware BDU's while playing paintball, and never will, they are good for playing in because of the material.

A good quote, I agree with most of the stuff. Wonder if I should break out the Timothy Leary quotes though.

Mag-hatter...I also own black JT pants. The BDUs are comfortable and are useful for rec because of the pockets and material, as was stated... "reguardless of what you heard".
