AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
me likes, me likes!!! i haven't taken it out of my cd player yet!

i've listened to it now for about 2 days straight. I like it, but I think the hybrid theory is better. The songs seem to have a better hook. I sing along more than with meteora. It is good though...Could have been better
Did anyone get the special edition double disc set? I haven't watched the "making of" yet. Is it worth the time?
Meteora is a good album, although it isn't a good as Linkin Park's first release. All aspects of the new music is top notch, the only problem is that there's less of it. Hybrid Theory was the first CD I actually purchased in a LONG time. At the time, I felt copying/DLing would be complete blasphemy given the quality of the music. However, copying a friend's Meteora CD didn't really bother me.

Good god! You have to be kidding me! Now, I've got nothing against their style of music, heck I actually like it if it wasn't for their silly lyrics and attitude, but they are deffinatly *NOT* talented artists.
The music they play is not technically difficult.
...and by god have you heard these guys live? It's almost as bad as Blink 182! The singer can't keep a rhythem and he's apparantly tone-deaf also.
If you like their music, fine; I've got nothing against their "sound" persay. I don't like the "I'm in 8th grade and my mom took my skateboard away, so I'm angry and pouting in my room" attitude they put across. I also don't like the fact that they probably spent HOURS upon HOURS in the studio editing and getting the songs to sound right.
